Auckland (Tāmaki Makaurau) and Mout Eden (Maungawhau) Tour

Tuesday 28th June 2022 | 9.30am - 12.30pm

An introduction to the largest city in Aotearoa New Zealand. Linda Tyler, Associate Professor of Art History and Museums and Cultural Heritage at the University of Auckland will take participants on a 90-minute guided walk to the summit of Mount Eden (Maungawhau). At the summit - the highest geographical point in Auckland, views of Manukau and Waitematā harbours, Rangitoto Island and beyond are guaranteed to take your breath away.

Cost: $55 per person, includes road transport, bottled water and GST. Please remember to wear good walking shoes and bring a jacket!

Waiheke Island Tour

Saturday 2 July 2022 | 9.40am - 6.10pm

Stunning scenery, white sand beaches, local artwork and wine and olive oil tastings. When Aucklander's talk of an island paradise, they are referring to Waiheke Island - only a 40 minute ferry from downtown Auckland. With a permanent population of around 9,000 people, Waiheke Island is home to over 30 wineries, along with olive groves and dozens of local and internationally renowned artists. Highlights of the tour will include a family style lunch of mains and desserts (beverages not included) at a local winery, free time at Onetangi beach, wine tastings, olive oil presentations and tastings and free time at Oneroa town centre. You can choose to remain on Waiheke Island for dinner, or return to downtown Auckland with the tour guide on the 5.30pm ferry.

Cost: $260NZD per person, includes round trip ferry tickets, road transport on Waiheke Island, lunch, wine and olive oil tastings, bottled water and GST. Please remember to wear good walking shoes and bring a jacket!
