New Zealand changes to visa and immigration requirements

If you’re an international delegate planning to attend the International Gambling Conference next year in June, you need to be aware the New Zealand Government have recently made some changes to the visa and immigration laws.

As of 1 October 2019, visitors planning to travel to New Zealand from visa-waiver countries now require an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) prior to coming to New Zealand. You may also have to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism levy (IVL).

For a list of visa-waiver countries click here, and for more information on the ETA and IVL visit the Immigration New Zealand website.
