Call for abstracts now open!

Submit your abstract

We are pleased to announce that abstracts are now open for IGC 2018. Information on submitting an abstract is available here.

The programme will include papers, workshops and posters addressing various aspects of the theme, Flipping the iceberg on gambling harm, mental health and co-existing issues.
Paper presentations are lecture-style presentations with a 25 minute time slot (20 minute presentation with five minutes for questions); workshops are 90 minutes and are activity-based, interactive sessions; and poster presentations are available as an alternative to a paper presentation or a workshop.

We encourage submissions reflecting innovative practice and research that advances fundamental knowledge about harmful gambling and co-existing issues, and informs gambling policy and professional practice.

The criteria for evaluation of abstracts are also outlined on the conference website.

Abstracts close Sunday 17 September 2017.

If you are willing to chair one or more sessions you can indicate this when you submit your abstract or let us know.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts and to an interesting, informative and innovative IGC 2018!

Reminder about accommodation!

This is another reminder to please book your accommodation for the conference NOW!

We understand that many of you won’t know at this stage whether you are attending, but accommodation is extremely difficult to find over the dates of the conference due to the Volvo Ocean Race. We are trying to find hotels/motels that may have vacancies but it is proving to be difficult. We will keep you updated and put information on the website as it becomes available but we urge you to secure accommodation now.
